Copperbeech kennels is very excited to announce a new business venture in partnership with Megan, who has successfully completed her Dog Training and Behaviour course.
She has already started with some of our regulars who have fed back some great results.
Megan has worked with dogs for the past 10 years; starting in the doggy daycare industry, where she offered basic training to the guests.
Typical of Megan (she likes a challenge) rescued her own reactive staffy and worked on changing him from wanting to attack another dog to gaining friends and socialising in a safe environment. She now owns a 6 year old Rotty who she enjoys training- using positive enforcement (tricks and treats) to stop her from reacting when meeting dogs socially.
Coming to work at the kennels Megan has seen so many dogs that have similar issues and her passion to help them has culminated in her achieving her Dog Trainer status.
She can offer training whilst your dog is with us for their holidays or arrange sessions for training purposes only.
Anything you need help with - whether it’s ensuring your new puppy is a well rounded dog or a rescue (with fear aggression or other problems) Megan has seen it all and she would love to help.
